Bedroom
A 9x12' rug can fit perfectly in a spacious bedroom with a king or queen sized bed. For example, when placed under a king bed and two nightstands, a 9x12’ will have ~2 ft of rug on either side of the bed.

Living Room
A 9x12' rug can be a great choice for a larger size living room. They work perfect for larger, L-shaped sofas and can anchor your seating area, while also leaving enough room around the edges for the flooring to show.
Dining Room
A 9x12' rug can work great for large dining tables with 8-10 chairs, no matter the shape (square, rectangular, circular, or oval). A rectangular-shaped table can be ideal for a 9x12’ if you want enough room to pull out all of the chairs without crossing the edge of the rug.

Bedroom
An 8x10' works perfectly in a bedroom with a king, queen, or full sized bed. For example, when used with a queen, an 8x10’ will have ~2 ft on either side of the rug, which works perfectly with two nightstands.
Living Room
An 8x10’ is the most versatile and common size for living rooms. While they are highly adaptable, 8x10's are perfectly suited for rooms with 2-3 seater sofas (with or without accent chairs) and can even be used with L-shaped sofas.
Dining Room
An 8x10’ is best for medium sized dining tables with 6-8 chairs or less. No matter the shape of the table (rectangular, square, circular, or oval), an 8x10' will suit your needs. For use with rectangular tables, 8x10's are ideal if you're looking to have the rug extend beyond the back of all dining chairs.
Bedroom
A 6x9’ works perfectly at the foot of a king or queen sized bed. It can be partially under the bed (as shown in the diagram) or simply placed at the foot of the bed. When used with a queen (as shown in the diagram), a 6x9’ will have ~1.5 ft on either side of the bed.

Yes! Tumble rugs do not use 'Velcro' or any other fastening materials to connect the rug to the rug pad. When desired, the rug can easily be removed from the pad, washed, and placed right back.
Our intention is to accurately depict the true color in all our online photos; however, some colors may slightly vary across different pictures. The product photos (on white background) will most accurately reflect the rug's true colors. The “View it in your room” (augmented reality) and Lifestyle photos (including Social Media) should not be used for assessing colors.
Yes, you can order additional Rug Covers for use with your Tumble Rug Pad of the same size. You can order some designs directly on this product page if you select "Extra Rug Cover". For designs that do not offer extra rug covers on our website, please email us at hello@tumbleliving.com with your selection.
Our rugs are coated with a water-based solution that is commonly used in medical and outdoor clothing. This coating helps separate oils, stains, or liquids from the fabric, preventing any absorption.
We pride ourselves on our high standards and rigorous testing. Firstly, our rugs are OEKO-TEX certified! In addition, our rugs and pads are tested in accordance with US safety standards and California's Prop 65 at a CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) approved, independently accredited testing laboratory. Our rugs and pads have been tested to meet or exceed the US safety standards for the following chemicals: PFCs (including PFOA and PFOS, which are found in waterproof coatings), VOCs, BPAs, common heavy metals such as Lead & Cadmium, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Formamide, and Dichloromethane (found in other washable rugs).
The spillproof effect will begin to diminish after washing, however this will vary based on multiple factors (e.g., detergent, wash cycle, humidity etc.) The spillproof coating is meant to serve as a "first line of defense", however the rug can always be washed to remove spills and stains.
Yes, you can vacuum your Tumble on the lowest setting (without use of a beater brush). Avoid vacuuming the sewn edges of the rug.
We don't recommend using autonomous robot vacuums as they've been known to damage the rug's edges.

I thought I loved my Ruggable, but this is GAME CHANGER! As easy as it is to wash a Ruggable, the issue is the velcro. It takes 2 to 3 people to reattach quickly. Tumble makes so many improvements to this by using a padded mat and so washing is so much easier! Designs need to be better, but hopefully in time this will get better. With better designs, I'm replacing all my Ruggables and buying Tumble Rugs!

The website was easy to navigate and order. The rug arrived very fast. It was packed well. Upon opening up the box, I was impressed with the color and design. It was prettier in person. The foundation was very easy to put together. The rug was easy to lay down and secure on the corners. I would have given the rug five stars, but I am concerned it may wrinkle when we walk on it. So far, so good. It was almost half the cost of competitors. Quality is same. System easier to install than the competitor.

This rug and pattern is very pretty- just as pictured. It is so thin but I guess that is for its best feature which is being machine washable! It was easy to put the pad together and the rug on top. It also came quickly so bonus points there! I just wish the pad wasn’t so delicious- my 9 month old puppy did basically eat/destroy one of the pad pieces. Not the rugs fault- just my badly behaved pups fault!
