FAQs
Yes! Tumble rugs do not use 'Velcro' or any other fastening materials to connect the rug to the rug pad. When desired, the rug can easily be removed from the pad, washed, and placed right back.
Our intention is to accurately depict the true color in all our online photos; however, some colors may slightly vary across different pictures. The product photos (on white background) will most accurately reflect the rug's true colors. The “View it in your room” (augmented reality) and Lifestyle photos (including Social Media) should not be used for assessing colors.
Yes, if you are an existing Tumble customer you can order additional rugs for use with your Tumble Rug Pad. In order to do so, please email us at hello@tumbleliving.com with your rug selection.
Our rugs are coated with a water-based solution that is commonly used in medical and outdoor clothing. This coating helps separate the oils, stains, or liquids from the fabric, preventing any absorption.
We pride ourselves on our high standards and rigorous testing. Our rugs and pads are tested in accordance with US safety standards and California's Prop 65 at a CPSC approved testing laboratory. Our rugs and pads have been tested for harmful chemicals such as PFCs (including PFOA and PFOS, which are found in waterproof coatings), VOCs, BPAs, common heavy metals such as Lead & Cadmium, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Formamide, and Dichloromethane (found in other washable rugs).
The spillproof effect will begin to diminish after washing, however this will vary based on multiple factors (e.g., detergent, wash cycle, humidity etc.) The spillproof coating is meant to serve as a "first line of defense", however the rug can always be washed to remove spills and stains.
Yes, you can vacuum your Tumble on the lowest setting (without use of a beater brush). Avoid vacuuming the sewn edges of the rug.
We don't recommend using autonomous robot vacuums as they've been known to damage the rug's edges.

Very pleased with our Tumble rug! Unfortunately our dog has already thrown up on it and I was pleasantly surprised with how easily the mess wiped right up. Customer service was excellent as well. I had ordered a different design initially and while waiting for it to ship, the Vienna was added which I liked a lot better. The customer support team was able to update my existing order with ease. Highly recommend!

This rug is nice, feels weird, I'm guessing it is the protective coating. The design on the rug is more prominent in person and the gray is more blue. If you don't want a blue gray rug, I advise to NOT get this one.

The Vienna Graphite is the perfect neutral color. It’s also very forgiving with my dogs dirty paw prints. It’s a relief knowing I can just throw this rug in the washer and it’ll be back to new.

I Truly am thankful for the excellent customer service. I ordered one set of rugs that I Didn't love the color in my kitchen. Tumble helped me with an exchange. I tried a second rug. It still wasn't quite right. They helped me process a refund. Then I found this rug and it was perfect. Not my first Tumble rug, but possibly my last. I know that screens can render colors differently so I looked at this on a few different devices before ordering. Upon receiving the rug, I thought I was accidentally shipped the grey one but no - this is just a very grey, slightly taupe rug. (Other people were also surprised at the color.). There isn’t anything wrong with the rug - it lays flat, etc. but it definitely doesn’t match my room due to the huge color discrepancy. Also, due the coloration, when shadows land on the rug, it looks dirty even though it isn’t.
