FAQs
Yes! Tumble rugs do not use 'Velcro' or any other fastening materials to connect the rug to the rug pad. When desired, the rug can easily be removed from the pad, washed, and placed right back.
Our intention is to accurately depict the true color in all our online photos; however, some colors may slightly vary across different pictures. The product photos (on white background) will most accurately reflect the rug's true colors. The “View it in your room” (augmented reality) and Lifestyle photos (including Social Media) should not be used for assessing colors.

Our rugs are coated with a water-based solution that is commonly used in medical and outdoor clothing. This coating helps separate the oils, stains, or liquids from the fabric, preventing any absorption.
We pride ourselves on our high standards and rigorous testing. Our rugs and pads are tested in accordance with US safety standards and California's Prop 65 at a CPSC approved testing laboratory. Our rugs and pads have been tested for harmful chemicals such as PFCs (including PFOA and PFOS, which are found in waterproof coatings), VOCs, BPAs, common heavy metals such as Lead & Cadmium, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Formamide, and Dichloromethane (found in other washable rugs).
The spillproof effect will begin to diminish after washing, however this will vary based on multiple factors (e.g., detergent, wash cycle, humidity etc.) The spillproof coating is meant to serve as a "first line of defense", however the rug can always be washed to remove spills and stains.
Yes, you can vacuum your Tumble on the lowest setting (without use of a beater brush). Avoid vacuuming the sewn edges of the rug.
We don't recommend using autonomous robot vacuums as they've been known to damage the rug's edges.

The pattern itself is beautiful; bright not not gaudy or too much. Putting the run together was a breeze. It took 5-10 mins for a 6x9. The rug/cover itself is fairly thin, but with the mat underneath it feels just as good as our far more expensive wool rug. The texture is more springy than a normal rug, but has been perfect for our dining room. The kids played on it all day once we installed it.

I ordered the 8'x10' Hali rug in Coral/Khaki and I absolutely love it! With two dogs that constantly bring in dirt and wet paws this rug is a life saver. The color is exactly as shown and described on the website. Shipping was fast and set-up was easy. I chose this washable rug over other brands because of it's rug pad and corner pockets on the rug. They fit great and it solves any issues with rolled corners or edges. I have received multiple compliments on this rug. I can't wait to purchase other colors and styles!

I needed a runner in my kitchen because I was tired of seeing water spots on my tile and just standing at the sink was tiresome. I finally settled on Hali in the grey. I thought it would be darker but as you can see it def has a slate blue undertone. I was actually happier with the color and I love it! It's so soft under foot and the pad is firm but comfortable. The pad stays mostly in place (it does come with sticky pads for extra grip if needed but I haven't needed them yet) it moves a tiny bit but it is a high traffic area. Easy to vacuum - haven't needed to wash yet, but I love this so much I'm buying one for my entry and living room!

I have a geriatric cat and a house full of competitor washable rugs. This was my first Tumble purchase, and while the quality of the rug and the default rug pad were both SO much better than my other washable rugs, the color just wasn’t as saturated as it looked in the product photos. I was hoping for more of a richness, but the red hues unfortunately were on the lighter, more streaky side, even a little shiny in the sunlight. The return process was very smooth, thankfully. So while this one didn’t work out, I do plan to return to Tumble once they start offering more styles!

Y’all, this rug is so pretty. The only “washable” rugs I’ve owned are the ones that say “not machine washable” or “dry clean only” and by the grace of God, they came out of the washer and dryer looking close to the day I bought them. The idea of a washable rug with a dog and a toddler sounded great but washable rugs always felt strange to me. Somehow, Tumble showed up on my Pinterest feed and I was interested so I bought this one. The customer service with Tumble has been wonderful! I looked at nearly all of them before using the Design Team to help make a decision. I originally wanted this rug for our bathroom but the rug was too wide-guess who went off the “see it in your room” and didn’t measure? That’s right……So, plan B, the laundry room which is where we all come in at and will put this washable rug to the test. I wanted to write a review because this rug is so much prettier in person than online. The first two pictures are in the bathroom where I wanted to put this rug and the third is where it currently lays. There weren’t many reviews with pictures of this rug on a light tile floor so I thought this may help another indecisive shopper like me. 😊

We bought this thinking it’d be great for by the sliding door to keep mud and moisture out of the house. It’s done much more as our elderly dog has already had several accidents. This comes off easily, fits in our washer and dryer, and looks great still! We bought two more!

I have been very impressed by the quality and feel of these rugs. Also how liquids just pool on them and all I have to do is dab them up. Only issue so far is that I don’t have a low suction vacuum so that is a slightly more difficult process than I would like it to be but otherwise I have been super happy with our purchase!

I like the rug, and it's holding up well in the bedroom. It's a less trafficked area. I give four stars because like other reviews the color was misleading, and it's really hard to tell even if review pictures based on the lighting. The main photo is not the accurate representation of the color. I also agree the rugs does suck up a little, but the "eco" mode on my Dyson works fine on it. I already had dog throw up on it, and it came off fine without having to wash. Sorry for the TMI!
