TUMBLE PRODUCTS

Yes. Each of our rugs comes with a cushioned non-slip foam pad included. Tumble rugs must be used with a Tumble rug pad only and cannot be used with other rug pads.

No. A Tumble Rug must be used with a Rug Pad. The Rug Pad makes a Tumble non-slip and keeps everything in place. Our Rug pad gives the rug a more cushioned, plusher feel while also helping with noise absorption.

No. We do not recommend using a Tumble Rug with different rug pads.

No. At this time, we only offer sets: Rug and Rug Pad.

Our rugs are coated with a water-based solution that is commonly used in medical and outdoor clothing. This coating helps separate the oils, stains, or liquids from the fabric, preventing any absorption.

Our rugs are rigorously tested to the US safety standards at a CPSC approved testing laboratory and are California Prop 65 compliant. Tumble rugs are free of harmful chemicals such as PFCs (including PFOA and PFOS, which are commonly found in waterproof coatings), VOCs, Lead, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Formamide, and Dichloromethane (commonly found in other washable rugs).

The spillproof coating is not visible and cannot be felt. Our rug’s surface is soft to the touch.

The rug is made of 100% polyester chenille with a water-based spillproof protective barrier and a polyester knit backing.

The rug pad is made of a combination of non-toxic EVA foam and thermoplastic resin (a non-toxic latex-free and rubber-free material), which prevents the rug from slipping.

Our rug pad is 1/4 inch thick which provides for a soft, cushy feel.

Yes, our ¼ inch thick rug and pad fits comfortably underneath most standard doorways, which are ½ to ¾ inches high.

Our Rug Pads are specifically designed to be slightly smaller than our Rugs in case the Rug mildly shrinks after drying (shrinkage). In case of shrinkage, the Rug Pad will remain out of view.

Yep, Tumble rugs were designed to be pet-friendly. Our rug’s low pile surface prevents the collection of dust and pet hair. In addition, you can easily clean your rug by removing from the pad and putting them in your washer. Our Rug Pad comes in individual pieces that can be wiped down with soap and water.

Tumble Rugs are Spillproof and Machine Washable, making it easier to deal with all kinds of pet accidents. The Tumble Rug Pad is also easy to spot-clean.

As cat owners/lovers ourselves, we have found that cats are attracted to rugs with a high pile or rough fibers like jute. Our rugs are made with a polyester chenille that has a very low pile height and is soft to the touch. Our rug pad’s rubberized top prevents damage from pets' scratching.

Our rug pad is rubber-free and latex-free. It is safe for use on LVP, Laminate, and hardwood floors and will not discolor any of these surfaces.

Tumble rugs are best suited for hard surfaces. While you may be able to use a Tumble on a low pile, firm carpet, we recommend using on hard surfaces for the best results.

No. A Tumble Rug is not designed for use on the stairs. Tumble Rugs are meant to be used on a flat, hard surface.

Shipping in a box not only saves you money but it offers the best customer experience: you can easily move them, unpack them, and even repack them should you ever need to move.

Folding the rugs will not damage them although it may temporarily crease them The fibers will eventually resume their position within a few days of unfolding.

CARE & WASHABILITY

Yes, all of our rugs are machine washable and can fit in a standard washer. Our Runner (2.5 x 7') and 3 x 5' can fit in a 2.2 cubic foot washer while our 5 x 7' and 8 x 10' can fit into a 3.8 cubic foot washer.

Only the Tumble Rug is machine washable. The Rug Pad can be cleaned with soap and water.

While a Tumble Rug is low maintenance compared to most rugs, care is necessary to maximize its longevity.

We recommends the following steps:

Step 1: Remove the rug and put it in the wash with the design side facing out.

Step 2: Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with the design facing outwards. Do not use detergent that contains bleach.

Step 3: We highly recommend hang drying (the rugs should dry fairly quickly). If this is not an option, tumble dry on low heat. Do not use fabric softener.

Pro Tip! You may add ½ cup of white vinegar to your detergent to help neutralize pet odors.

To keep your product looking new and vibrant, we recommend the following settings:

  • Washer Setting: We recommend washing your Tumble Rug in cold water using the delicate wash cycle and a mild and non-bleach detergent.
  • Dryer Setting: Set the dryer on Low Heat. The Rug can also be hung and air-dried, if preferred.

Place the Rug Cover in the dryer and set it on Low Heat. The Rug Cover may also be hung and air-dried if preferred.

It typically takes 1-2 days to air dry your Tumble Rug.

If the accident soaked into the Rug, you should wash the Rug immediately. If you were able to wipe away before it soaked into the Rug, you may spot-clean the area using a mild soap; however, even if you removed the accident but there is a slight odor, you should wash the Rug.

We recommend using any mild, non-bleach detergent.

No. We do not recommend using bleach or fabric softener.

There is no limit to the number of washes; however, as with any washable product, excessive washing with harsh detergents may begin to damage the polyester fibers.

The spillproof effect will begin to diminish after washing, however this will vary based on multiple factors (e.g., detergent, wash cycle, humidity etc.) The spillproof coating is meant to serve as a "first line of defense", however the rug can always be washed to remove spills and stains.

Yes. Because Tumble is lighter than a normal rug, we recommend using a low suction or low power setting. This setting is commonly labeled “hard floor” or “low-pile carpet.” Please turn off the beater bar/brush before using.

It is easiest to use a pull motion only instead of the traditional push and pull motion.

Avoid vacuuming the edges and corners.

Autonomous robot vacuums will work with Tumble rugs and rug pads, however, we advise against it to avoid damage to the edges and corners of your rug.

SETTING UP YOUR TUMBLE

Before setting up your Tumble Rug and Rug Pad, it is best to clean the area you intend to lay your Tumble. Cleaning the surface will maximize the non-slip performance.

Step 1: Determine where you want to place the rug and clear the space entirely. Once you set up the rug pad, it will be very difficult to move!

Please follow the placement of the mat as shown here:

5x7' Rug Pad

8x10' Rug Pad

Step 2: Connect each piece by aligning the interlocking teeth and gently patting them down until the teeth are flush. Apply a little force if necessary.

Step 3: Place the rug onto the pad and tuck each corner of the pad into the pockets on the underside of the rug.

Step 4: Center the rug on the rug pad and smooth out any wrinkles. Any rug creases should relax within a week. The rug should be slightly larger than the pad. Note that the rug will shrink slightly after washing.

Check out our Video here!

The Tumble Rug connects with our Rug Pad utilizing two key features: 1) our Rug Pad’s grippy, rubberized top, helps to keep the rug in place and 2) our Tumble Rug has corner pockets which allow the Rug Pad to tuck into.

Our patent-pending technology is the first of its kind. Our Corner Pockets are designed so that the rug pad tucks directly into the pocket, ensuring that it lays flat on the ground, prevents curling corners, and prevents the rug from moving around.
